The need of brand new musical pieces

No musical pieces were made for this new range of instruments. Thus composers helped us writing new pieces only for this new kind of marching band with natural instruments. Here are some pieces wrote only for those instruments:

  • 2013 : “Métaphysique des tubes” by Vincent Morinière
    • Inspired by Amélie Nothomb’s novel
  • 2013 : “L’Odradek” by Alex Tatnell
    • After “Les déboires d’un père de famille” by Franz Kafka
  • 2013 : “À la lisière du monde” by Lionel Rivière
    • Imaginary adventure between two worlds
  • 2014 : “Prototype” by Fabien Bataille
    • A 3 parts piece for percussionist soloist
  • 2017 : “Fenêtre sur le monde” by Fabien Bataille
    • After Frédéric Beigbeder’s novel “Window on the world”
  • 2018 : “Le vin de l’assassin” by Franck Lagarde
    • After Charles Baudelaire poem « le vin de l’assassin »

The natural instruments also give us the opportunity to play a larger range of musical pieces. Different arrangements were made by Vincent Morinière for the OCP Le Loroux :

  • Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir (BWV 130)
  • Freuet euch, ihr Christen alle Bach (BWV 40)
  • Jesu Kreuz, Leiden und Pein bach (BWV 245)
  • Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele (BWV 180)
  • Valet will ich dir geben (BWV 735)
  • Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme (BWV 140)

Batteries-Fanfares’ (marching bands) repertoire:

We also play all the pieces of the Batteries-Fanfares’ repertoire.
